Description
We are looking for a talented onsite Service Parts Advisor to join our team specializing in Service for our Branch in Morgan City, Louisiana!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Under moderate supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch parts in the local branch, checking for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
Perform other duties including but not limited to; managing stock levels, shipping and receiving parts, warehouse activities, inventory management, other parts related duties as assigned by Management.
Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
Carries out customer parts counter duties under moderate supervision including receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk in customers, completing all paperwork and processing it accordingly, handling cash, check and credit card transactions.
Communicate with internal and external customers by phone and in person at local branch to address their needs and issues in timely manner.
Utilize various systems, catalogs, resources while collaborating with Technicians and other Parts personnel to identify and procure parts in the most cost and time efficient manner.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills.
Qualified candidate must live within 30 miles of the branch.
This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
