Manufacturing Engineer ( Fertigungsingenieur) (m/w/d) – Herten, Germany
We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Hydrogenic Fuel Cells in Herten, Germany.
About the role:
Working in close collaboration with the internal stakeholders you will be actively involved in assisting with the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met. You will also be :
Contributes to the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while contributing to teams.
Contributes by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.
Assists with the development of manufacturing standards and working methods by using continuous improvement tools.
Works with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.
Qualifikationen
About you:
You will ideally have manufacturing engineering experience within an automotive, heavy machinery, renewable energy or engineering environment, however, if you enjoy and can evidence a high level of attention to detail, resiliency, and strong communication skills along with an interest in manufacturing engineering and already had the technical experience in product manufacturing or process manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you. Here are some of the other skills and competencies we’d like you to have:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline (industrial, mechanical, process fields of study);
Proven professional experience in Engineering, Product Manufacturing, or Service Engineering;
Strong experience with manufacturing engineering: defining the equipment needed for the specific manufacturing project(s), defining needed documentation, creating of control plans and process flow diagrams, knowledge of the BoM; etc
Fluency in English, as this is our main business language, along with fluency in German;
